This aims to provide the students with a broad and adequate training in physics as a foundation for careers in applied or interdisciplinary sciences like electronics, computing, biophysics, superconductivity, thin film processes, liquid crystals, geophysics, and physics chemistry.
At the end of the program, the student should be able to:
1. Apply theoretical, computational, and experimental physics in a workplace;
2. Conduct research related to health and medical physics that contribute to national development;
3. Advance towards higher knowledge and experience requisite to assuming a leadership role in the health and medical physics profession;
4. Collaborate with members of the health and medical physics community and representatives from related health and safety professions;
5. Synthesize and effectively communicate scientific information in both English and Filipino; and
6. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
